om man lyssna på de du nämner så håller jag med. men gämför dom med tex Thy Art Is Murder, så hör du rätt mkt skillnad

As i said, its a mix between the genres. If u listen to the last breakdown and still cant hear the deathcore-touch of it, then ur deaf :b

But I guess that this song is not the only song you got?
BMFV is metalcore, Atreyu is metalcore, this is a bit heavier. Ive never heard any of those bands use pig squeals or guttural vocals.
But yeah, we do have other songs, this one is just the first we went to record in the studio.

imo it wasnt hard enought to be a core genre, it was pretty heavey, but for me it seemed more like a death metal band than a deathcore band.

August burns red is metalcore, As i lay dying is metalcore, The Agony Scene Is Metalcore there is many different sounds in metalcore.
I couldnt hear the pigsqueals cause the sound was too crappy. But if u have squeals, that part is the only part that is deathcore.
Well sure, those bands are metalcore, but we DO have elements from both genres, thats the reason why i said its a mix.
If u have a headset, or a good soundsystem ,turn the volume up a bit and listen for example to the last breakdown (the very end of the song)
Then you would be able to hear the squeals, the sound got kinda fucked when we burned it onto a cd :s dunno why.
Id say we're more metalcore like Parkway drive and the Agony scene, indeed, but the deathcore is there, just not as much :] we've got a couple of other songs way heavier than this. We just chose this to be our first demo so that we could get a wide spectre of listeners, since not evry1 is that into brutal deathcore.
