Personal Thoughts
Have you ever had a goal that you could not reach,
As in forgetting the words to an important speech.
I have, it happens every single day,
Before I go to sleep I close my eyes and pray.
Even though I don't believe in god,
People would probably find that odd.
But I do it cause i feel bad,
A feeling far beyond just being sad.
There isn't a word to describe it but I can try,
Every night crying myself to sleep thinking I want to die.
Awake every morning to achieve a warmth within my soul,
But actually within it's a cold, lonely, dark hole.
Pushing myself to yet continue forward,
Thinking a better path I am toward.
Yet again my hope shatters like broken glass,
The feeling of a failer unable to pass.
Stranded in my own thoughts of misery,
Why me, well that's the true mystery.
Am I not aloud a regular and happy life,
Maybe I should just grab a knife.
Put an end to this humanform and turn myself into a cold stone,
Forever forgotten, take the spiritualform as forever alone - 'noahsteele
