Why do you dislike those?

Indeed.
But have you seen the ones with lobstertail?
The tail looks a bit like the finger of a plate gauntlet, and runs down your neck and a short bit along your spine. They look wicked.


I also do love the bascinets with the pointy visor, heh.

It is gorgeous indeed.
My personal favourite is those with lobster-tail.

Indeed, for like... 8 people.
And not to forget the fact that I had to get clothes.

So I said fuck it. It was a while ago.

Now I'm learning to sew historically correct clothing, I'm aiming for mid to late 15th century.
Aching to get my hands on a sallet and bevor, heh.

I know a few.
I was going to be the personal cook of a group, once... Both in and out of character.
But I had no clothes, and the entrance fee to the LARP was 800, and they expected me to cook for them out of my own pocket.

Probably... I'm going to ask around, perhaps I'll find some Merc Company or the like.

Indeed, most guys at reenactment use 'em too.

I've kinda wanted to get into LARP... However, I don't quite know which LARP, or what I should play... Or even why I want it. xD

Yeah, I did some controlled sparring with a friend, I have a blunted longsword, he has a feder... He thrusted at me and stopped, the tip of his sword was thrust against one of my testicles, not hard at all... But hard enough for me to instantly buy a cup. xD

I'm in a HEMA club that does reenactment, so the only extra thing I need is a fencing mask.
I use my gambeson, my gauntlets, and my weapons for HEMA, heh.

Oh, and a cup. xD
