Why is excercising so important for both our physical well being, and our emotional well being?
These are some of the reasons :
Improved self-esteem is a key psychological benefit of regular physical activity. When you exercise, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These endorphins interact with the receptors in your brain that reduce your perception of pain.
Endorphins also trigger a positive feeling in the body, similar to that of morphine. For example, the feeling that follows a run or workout is often described as "euphoric." That feeling, known as a "runner's high," can be accompanied by a positive and energizing outlook on life.
Endorphins act as analgesics, which means they diminish the perception of pain. They also act as sedatives. They are manufactured in your brain, spinal cord, and many other parts of your body and are released in response to brain chemicals called neurotransmitters..
Regular exercise has been proven to:
Reduce stress
Ward off anxiety and feelings of depression
Boost self-esteem
Improve sleep
Exercise also has these added health benefits:
It strengthens your heart.
It increases energy levels.
It lowers blood pressure.
Aside of all of that, I believe that because our ancient ancestors survived by repeating certain physical activities, such as hunting and running away from predators, it has become an evolutionary conditioning for our bodies to be constantly active. It's natural to us'. Even though times have changed, and we no longer have to do much of those physical activities to survive', our body still needs those kinds of stimulation in order to be working as best as it can.
So, whenever you are feeling down, a bit depressed, or just have a lot of negative energy to express, try having an intense work out, or do some yoga, or take a walk in nature! Follow that with a long soothing and calming shower, and chances are, you will feel just like new! ^-^
We have to listen to our own intuition. We are able to pick up on so many things, the more we pay attention to ourselves, our own feelings, our own intuition, the better chance we have to avoid unwanted circumstances.
Trusting your own intuition is something that is not promoted or taught. Instead, we are taught to disregard this inner voice in favor of "expert" opinions, failing to realize that we are all unique and no one is a bigger "expert" in what it means to be you than you.
To what ends do we have to endure the conventional ways of this restricting society?
Many of those who are not so easily subjected to the ways of this restricting society find themselves feelings like a prisoner to this self-perpetuating chaotic cycle that is only turning everyone into obedient servants.
Why are we forced to be servants to a system that ultimately does not have our best interest in mind?
A system that only is driven by monetary value.
A system that only benefits those who are the possessors of these monetary assets....
Don't you see that your life has been planned out for you before you even had a say in it?
Do not just be a puppet for this puppeteer that is the system...
You are a human, you have the power to make a difference....
We exist in a reality that goes beyond our possible complete comprehension of it. Yet, I believe that we are able to understand more than we think we can. And the way we can mostly do this, is by experiencing, which is a totally different way of understanding.
On this level, sensitivity and understanding go hang in hand. Sensitivity is a state of heightened alertness and receptivity to 'what is', to the reality of the moment, free from opinion and bias. There is a complete negation of thought and mind in this state which is poised to capture the whisper of the unknown. It brings about non verbal, impersonal understanding which has nothing to do with thought or mind.
So, when you say "education" is the problem...What do you mean by that?
What most people do not realize....Is that the problem with society is not so much people "lacking education''..... because you see a lot of people being educated and they are still as ignorant as ever, sometimes, even more so you could say.... But, it's actually lacking the "PROPER" education, in terms of relevance to the betterment of society itself. We have to get people properly educated about all existing societal problems if we wish to change anything for the better....
''The universe is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition.''
-Carl Sagan
It is we who need to align our ambitions to those of the universe....
It is very self-evident what has been happening until now....
The more we stray from the path of the universe, the more likely we are bringing the end to ourselves...
With that same reasoning in mind, the more you align yourself to the universe, the higher your purpose...You become what you've always been intended to be...A being of higher consciousness, a being that not only feels the universe, but also listens to it.
The only way love can last a lifetime is if it's unconditional. The truth is this: love is not determined by the one being loved but rather by the one choosing to love.
-Stephen Kendrick, The Love Dare.
1. Acceptance
2. Understanding
3. Appreciation
It is not supposed to be a luxury to be loved, and yes, even if unconditionally.
Just imagine if these three traits were practiced by everyone.
''Little by little, very gradually, we take small steps in trust. We begin to withdraw our attention and believe from this constant chatter, this constant dialogue that goes on inside us which is always convincing us to be for or against what's in front of us by comparing what we see to an image that it brings up from the past, from our memory.
Each time we are able to claim our attention from it, and make the decision to not believe what it's telling us, we stop feeding it and instead feed the seed of that which is True and Eternal within us. Each time we do this we uncover that which we REALLY are, have and will always be, and we come closer to freedom and to being in relationship with the proper order of all things.''
It is not until we make that leap of faith, that we can truly aspire to become beings of higher purpose and of higher self...
''You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.'' -Buddha
When life brings us down, we usually feel bad for ourselves. And in doing so, we expect either to be pitied and or expect others to bring us out of that state of unpleasantness. The truth of the matter is, the person you truly need the most, is yourself. When you let life's circumstances bring you down, you are actually distancing from yourself. Which is why most people who are brought down by life's circumstances feel like they are ''lost''.
YOU deserve better than that. YOU deserve all the love you can give yourself. YOU deserve forgiveness from yourself, YOU deserve to be happy.
So, why don't you do yourself a favor , and just be there for yourself. Be your own best-friend. Because you definitely deserve it ^-^
Mind = The creator aspect of us.
Emotions = The spirit aspect of us.
Actions = This is the by-product of our thoughts and our emotions
To attain inner peace we must have all three of these working together as one'.
''As we think, so we feel, so we act'.
More often than not our actions are in opposition of what we think and or what we feel. We usually carry on these opposing actions by trying to justify them.
It is only when all of these three aspects of us work as a ''unit'', that we actually experience becoming our own masters. We experience the ultimate form of ''Self love'', we break away from the chains that prevent us from being ''free''.
